I tried to create a focal point by grouping the objects together inside the center object. Openings always give me trouble and I don't like how the metal cup turned out. The spoon does not have a hole in it but i wasn't sure how to show its depth with a sharpie

Ok. Good start to this assignment. One thing to keep in mind, when drawing cylinders is that the bottom curve is the same as the top curve. Most beginning drawing students want to draw it flat and that would make the bottom a square - which it is not. Because a cylinder is round all the way through, the curve remains the same no matter how wide or narrow an object becomes.
